Our Pastor
Pastor Kline grew up in a religious home but was not saved until he left home at the age of eighteen. Shortly after receiving Christ he surrendered to serve the Lord in whatever capacity the Lord would have. Pastor Kline graduated from Heritage Baptist University and was ordained in 1997. The Kline’s moved to Castlegar British Columbia and started Castlegar Baptist Church in 1998. Pastor Kline has been married to his wife Betsy since 1989 and the Lord has blessed them with four children and five grandchildren.

Nursery
Our well-staffed Nursery is provided for our Sunday morning and Thursday evening services. Your child will be well supervised while you enjoy the service. We don’t consider the toddlers too young to learn about Jesus: a short song and story time are often part of the nursery atmosphere.

Teenagers
“Let no man despise thy youth.” Our teen ministry is designed to encourage and strengthen young people through Bible teaching, fellowship, and Christ-centered activities. Teens meet every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for Sunday School, along with outreaches, activities, and special events throughout the year.
We believe today’s teens are tomorrow’s leaders, and our goal is to help them grow in their walk with Christ in a fun, uplifting environment.

ESL Classes
Our ESL (English as a Second Language) Class is a friendly and supportive place to learn and practice English in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Whether you are new to Canada or simply want to improve your conversation skills, our classes focus on practical language, friendship, and community. Everyone is welcome, and all skill levels are invited to join us as we learn together.
